The CHBC shall exist:

TO SUPPORT CHARITABLE CAUSES AND ORGANIZATIONS:

  • PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY PLAYERS WHO WILL ATTEND COLLEGE

  • PROVIDE MONIES DIRECTLY TO INDIVIDUAL CHARITIES IN WHICH (CHBC) MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN THE CHARITY AND/OR ACTIVITY

  • PROVIDE HOCKEY TICKETS AND EQUIPMENT TO SCHOOL CHILDREN

TO PROMOTE INTEREST IN HOCKEY THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY


You can even select a different state and city if someone wants to purchase a book outside of the greater Cleveland area. Thanks for your support!

Contributions are still coming in and therefore a final award total cannot be shared. However, the minimum scholarship amounts being awarded to all winners will be $2000.

PLAYERS GOODIE BAG DONATIONS

A FEW TIMES A YEAR WE HAVE AREA SCHOOLS, ORGANIZATIONS & CHBC VOLUNTEERS HELP PUT TOGETHER GOODIE BAGS FOR OUR PLAYERS AND COACHING STAFF.

DONATIONS OF ITEMS TO PUT THESE TOGETHER ARE VERY MUCH WELCOME. CONTRIBUTIONS CAN INCLUDE:

  • PAPER PRODUCTS NEEDED (BAGS/BOXES/STICKERS/CARDS)

  • TREATS (SWEET/HEALTHY)

  • TRAVEL ITEMS (DECK OF CARDS/WORD SEARCHES)

  • BOTTLES OF WATER/GATORADE

  • GIFT CARDS SO WE CAN PUT SOMETHING EVEN MORE SPECIAL IN EACH ONE

RAFFLES

Every game we have a raffle going on. Whether it be a players jersey (past/present), a special item (as these colored/adorned piggy banks from the players themself) as well as other items. You are encouraged to participate as all monies come back to the club for use within the community.

Hoping 2023 -24 season brings back the players “custom art” project like our piggy banks!

 

BUS TRIP

Each year we plan 1 or 2 bus trips. A great adventure is had on these trip and a portion of the money goes towards the club. If you have ideas of where you would like to go for a game or would like to assist with future trip plannings contact Tara Gould chbc2ndVeep@gmail.com

 
 

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP BANQUET

Each year we give out scholarships to high school seniors. The Cleveland Monsters every year have contributed allowing us to give GREAT amounts to the winners. This year we were able to bring it back and what a great time was had by all!

Visit our Booster Club members during the season and find the many ways YOU can support our club (besides becoming a member of course).

  • Donations are always welcome. Do you have a business or know of someone who would like to donate future raffle items for the table or our upcoming scholarship banquet? Please stop by and let us know.

  • Join us for numerous area events. We may visit local area hockey events or other charitable organizations to provide support.

  • If you have youth hockey equipment that is still in good shape and would like to donate, let us know at our booth next home game.

  • Our Annual Scholarship Fundraising dinner. Help by selling tickets as the more we sell the larger our contribution to area hockey needs will be, help us make this the best year yet for scholarships. Keep checking for more details on this awesome event.

We would like to introduce you all to the new colors and look of the Cleveland Monsters.

BLUE , INSPIRED BY THE WATERS WE CALL HOME, THE COLLARS WE WEAR, AND OUR CITY’S CALDER CUP LEGACY.

BLACK , AS TOUGH AND DARK AS THE MONSTER ITSELF AND THE DEEPEST DEPTHS OF LAKE ERIE.

PLUS, A LITTLE CLEVELAND GOLD ALWAYS HELPS US SHINE.

Cleveland Monsters

With the 2023-2024 Training camp roster set our season starts on the road for the team and AHLTV has a FREE view of this opening weekend.

Also, the broadcast schedule has been released and from an audio perspective, all 72 Monsters regular-season games, home and away, along with all potential playoff action, will be presented live on FOX Sports 1350 The Gambler and the iHeartRadio app. Additionally, all Monsters games can be viewed live and on-demand via the AHL’s streaming service, AHLTV.
